Usage of prototype

     prototype it is a property of Function, and it is used to add some extra function to an existing function, or override the function.
     If you create an empty function.

 var funvar=function () {

  //Empty Function

 }

     You can add any function from outside of that function by  prototype keyword, like below

funvar.prototype.firstName = "Merbin";

funvar.prototype.lastName = "Joe";

funvar.prototype.SDate = new Date();



funvar.prototype.fullName = function () {

 alert(this.firstName + " " + this.lastName);

};

     Now we can call that function as usually by creating objects.

 var ObjVar = new funvar();

 ObjVar.fullName();   // Merbin Joe

 alert(ObjVar.SDate);  // true
